Job description
We are currently working with an international architectural design and technology consultancy based near the Farringdon area in London who are expanding their team. They are now looking to acquire the services of a Studio Manager to join their team, working closely with the Global Operations Manager to ensure a smooth running of the business. This role will involve the day-to-day management of administrative tasks and office functions alongside helping with onboarding and assisting other members of staff. The ideal candidate will be someone who has previously worked in an architectural or interior design business and has worked in a similar role previously.
The Role
Day-to-day management of office functions such as deliveries, suppliers, and purchasing equipment and supplies.
Assisting in document management of files, contracts, and project records.
Working with the Director of Business Operations to implement staff onboarding and offboarding, communicate with external suppliers such as IT, organize staff training, and assist with implementing marketing efforts.
Assisting with the development of content for and management of social media channels.
Assisting senior staff in developing portfolio content for proposals. InDesign experience is a plus, but it is not necessary.
Assisting the studio principal in managing expenses and receipts.
The Candidate
Previous experience working in an Office/Studio Manager role or similar position.
Experience in using InDesign is desirable but not essential.
Happy to work on-site Monday to Friday.
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Excellent communication skills and to be comfortable when speaking on the phone.
Keen and enthusiastic to learn and develop your skill set.
