Job description

​Our client is an international interior design and architecture agency with a focus on retail and hospitality. They are looking for a motivated, proactive and detail-orientated person to join their team as a Marketing Assistant. The position will involve working closely with the Head of Business Development to cover brand strategy and marketing research. The ideal candidate would be someone with previous experience working in marketing, research or sales and be comfortable using a CRM to streamline the process.

The Role

·        Work closely with the Head of Business Development to assist in developing and executing branding and marketing strategies.

·        Use CRM to manage customer relationships, track leads, and streamline sales and marketing workflows.

·        Conduct market research to identify new business development opportunities, trends, and competitor insights.

·        Provide background information on cold leads to enhance outreach efforts.

·        Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure things match up between branding, sales, and business development strategies.

·        Assist in cold calling potential clients as needed, aiming to establish initial contact and interest.

·        Assist in managing the sales funnel, lead chasing, engagement, and follow-ups.

·        Track and analyse marketing and sales data, providing actionable insights to improve performance.

·        Report regularly to the Marketing Lead or line manager on progress and performance against key objectives.

·        Stay informed about trends in interior design, architecture, and related industries to support informed decision-making.

·        Manage the Social Media Content Calendar.

·        Manage website content updates.

The Candidate

•           Experience in sales, marketing, or business development roles.

•           Experience using a CRM.

•           Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a team-oriented approach.

•           Comfort in a global business setting, adaptable to various cultural nuances.

•           Strong research and analytical skills with a keen eye for identifying growth opportunities.

•           Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

•           Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

•           Experience in a branding or marketing research capacity.

•           Knowledge of digital marketing, social media strategies, or content marketing.

•           A passion for interior design and architecture is a plus.
