Job description

We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Project Architect to join our client's small but expanding studio. Established in the heart of Chelsea, this practice focuses on super prime high-end residential projects for private clients in the UK and overseas. They are experiencing steady growth as they have a number of exciting projects about to commence on-site.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Architect with minimum 5 years of post-Part III experience, spanning across all RIBA stages, to contribute to the practice's development and be part of a supportive and collaborative working environment. On-site project experience is essential to this role and an expansive knowledge of planning legislation and UK building regulations.

While the practice offers flexible work-from-home arrangements, they emphasise the importance of office days to foster knowledge sharing, teamwork, and idea generation among all team members, both junior and senior.

Dependent on experience, this role pays up to £55,000 per annum.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • 5 years minimum post Part III industry experience with a proven record of running on-site residential projects

  • Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and construction methods with the ability to liaise with the local council throughout the life of a project

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and InDesign with knowledge using Adobe Suite

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Be able to organise site meetings and assist with questions arising on site with sub-contractors and specialists

  • Guide and mentor junior team members

  • Able to create schedules

  • Capability to produce detail drawings, finishes/ironmongery schedules, room elevations and joinery elevations/details

  • Great communication and presentation skills

If you are looking for a challenging role in a supportive and growing practice, with opportunities for professional development and the chance to work on prestigious projects, we encourage you to apply!
