​This AJ100 architectural practice known for creating intelligent and purposeful mid-large scale residential, mixed use and build-to-rent projects is now urgently looking for an experienced Site Architect or Package Architect to manage and deliver 2x large Residential projects, from RIBA Stage 5 (buildings are on site now in East London and Cambridge) through to client handover for a 12-month contract / freelance basis (PAYE or LTD).

Employing around 70 people, this UK design practice offers a hybrid collaborative working environment with a personable, friendly, diverse, and supportive management team.

The successful Site Architect or Package Architect will be spending half of their time on either building site in London engaging with the contractors and clients, performing site inspections on the quality of construction and finishes, reviewing drawings, and making amendments where needed; and all other tasks involved during the final phase of construction through to client handover.

Experienced Site Architects and Package Architects applying will be expected to have a good grasp of construction methods gained whilst working on medium or large scale residential, or mixed-use building sites through the construction and handover stages (normally RIBA Stages 5-7).

Please note that this position is urgent, and we can only consider experienced Site Architects and Package Architects who are either immediately available or who can start within 2 weeks’ notice ideally.

This client normally offers hybrid working and up to 40 Hours per week but the days of being on site and/or in the studio (SE1) are likely to vary week to week.

Expenses will be paid for commuting costs to the Cambridge site and both PAYE or LTD options are available for this contract.
