Senior Project Manager role with central London based architectural practice
White Space is thrilled to be working alongside an international architectural practice to help them recruit a new suitably experienced and architecturally focused Senior Project Manager for their central London office. The practice has a successful track record working across a number of sectors, specifically within the mission critical sector with schemes based throughout the UK, Europe and in north America.
The successful candidate will use their wealth of project management experience and industry knowledge to manage their projects as well as other colleagues completing more junior roles. Time management and budget monitoring will be paramount to ensure that projects meet their deadlines and financial expectations. Collaboration across a multitude of departments will also be imperative for the role.
A proven experience in large-scale complex projects will be essential for the candidate and ability to ensure project Quality Assurance/Quality Control is performed too. Not only is a proven track record in project management required to fulfil this role, substantial professional knowledge is hugely important, but competence and maintaining client relationships are just as significant.
To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate the following:
Ability to coach and mentor staff whilst maintaining project targets
Ability to negotiate contracts
A qualification in architecture or related field and accreditation in a relevant professional body
10+ years of architectural industry experience
5+ years project management experience
Proven experience with RIBA stages 2, 3, 4 and 5
Previous experience with large-scale complex projects
Experience leading medium to large multi-disciplinary project teams
