Job description

This award winning architectural and interiors practice, with an enviable reputation in hospitality projects, is urgently seeking a Part II Architectural Assistant or Senior Architectural Assistant, ideally with experience of working on high-end residential or hotel schemes.

This practice offers a vibrant, friendly, and collaborative studio environment where the successful Part II Architectural Assistant or Senior Architectural Assistant will join a dedicated project team of 5-10 people working on an exciting luxury hotel refurbishment project in London. This position will involve working onsite at the hotel in West London focusing on the snagging stages of phased works and time spent in the main studio based in SE1. Tasks will include reviewing/checking the quality of the finishes, interior details and that construction meets both design intent and the construction drawings. Additionally, there will be a requirement to review raw AutoCAD drawings checking against requirements, specifications and possibly making minor amendments if required.

Part II Architectural Assistants or Senior Architectural Assistants applying should be enthusiastic with a zest for learning, have a reasonable understanding of construction processes and have good skills in AutoCAD. Please note that ideally this client is looking for people with experience of high-end residential or hotel experience, but they may consider other closely aligned projects that require high attention to detail and/or complexity.

This client can only consider Part II Architectural Assistants or Senior Architectural Assistants who are either immediately available or who can start within the next 1-2 weeks.

The environment is a mix of 3 days in the SE1 office and/or onsite at the hotel in West London, and 2 days from home, circa 37.5 hours per week.
