Job description

Are you an experienced Architectural Technician or Technologist looking for a new role in Sussex?

One of my favourite clients in Sussex are wanting to add an Architectural Technologist to join their Technical team. You will have the opportunity to work on a range of residential and mixed-use projects varying in size and complexity. This is a permanent role starting asap. A talented Junior with some experience will also be considered.

I have worked with this firm for 9 years and placed 7 people into various roles including a Senior Technician and a Senior Architect. They are without doubt one of the leading practices in Sussex and have won multiple awards for their work. For over 20 years they have built a solid and trusted and strong reputation for delivering innovative and sustainable designs. This AJ100 practice focus on projects across various sectors from residential to commercial to education and masterplanning on project values up to £50 million. With schemes being awarded across the UK and Europe they are leading the way within architecture and showcasing their versatility and expertise within the industry. The feedback from previous placements have been very positive with 3 of my candidates having recently been promoted to Senior and Associate levels proving they are focused on developing in house talent and rewarding hard work. If I was an architectural professional, I would definitely want to work here!

They encourage regular seminars, courses, qualifications and regularly take their staff for city break team building trips. Hybrid working days are allowed in addition to flexibility around core hours.

You will work with the senior teams on a range of medium to large scale mixed use and residential projects from RIBA stage 4 onwards. This would suit someone wanting to move their career to the next level whatever path you choose.

You will be experienced in consulting with a client, preparing detailed drawings and coordinating your work with other teams based upon the client’s brief and planning information.
